What i did today.. went to breakfast around 8.30am at a small gerai tepi jalan (small stall beside the road), eat lepat pisang (a kind of tasty food with banana in it hahaha), nasi lemak (coconut rice) with a nice teh tarik (pull tea... haha), i like teh tarik very much..

Then i went back home, took a warm bath with my brand new water heater and get ready to go shopping at MYDIN USJ Superstore.. with my super duper automatic perodua kancil..

I still have time, i saw a promotion by Bank Simpanan National and save some of my money with Sijil Simpanan Premium..
On the same day, i went to cut my short hair shorter.. aaahh i'm so tired.. bye bye..

Located in Rembau, Negeri Sembilan, about 1½ hours from Kuala Lumpur. Gunung Datuk/Mount Datuk with a height of 870m/2900ft.. errr.... is there any minimum height to be categorize as a gunung/mountain?

At a moderate pace, it tooks around 2½ hours to reach the peak, and this is the beautiful part of it. You can have a 360 degrees view without trees blocking the view, but you must be careful as the wind here is very strong..

Readers must know that the summit of Mount Datuk was once used by Dato' Perpateh Nan Sebatang to gather Customs Leaders to announce the future Clan Chief in 1372.

aaahhhh... feels so great.. far from work, traffic jams, bla bla bla... yup, we just came back from a wonderful trip to Karambunai Sabah..

took the AirAsia's holiday package worth RM1947.00 (2 adults + 1 child) that includes 4D & 3N stay at the Nexus Resort Karambunai Sabah located around 45 minutes from KK airport..

add another RM150.00 for transportation from KK airport - Nexus - KK airport..

there are also shuttle buses to take you to KK town with a RM24.00 return ticket..

the resort is nice, the staff is nice.. but the food n activities are quite expensive for us.. e.g Nasi Goreng RM32.00.. hehehe..

i've nothing to do on the 9th December (aku cuti), so i decide to out for a jalan-jalan alone to Ampang Park n KLCC...

drop off at the Ampang Park LRT Station n took a nice slow walk to KLCC..
the 88 floor building called Petronas Twin Towers KLCC...
along d way ada kedai emas..
i used to have my lunch here everyday... coz i used to work at Tower 2...

Result of the day was... i have my lunch, n at last i managed to developed 100 photos after taking thousands of them on my digital camera.. see, the -ve site of digital camera, u just snap snap n snap it but hardly developed them..

A working trip to Lumut Perak, Malaysia

Me n friends stayed at Teluk Batik Beach Resort just for 2 nights. Hotel are ok, people are nice, the sales guy is great, everything we ask for he will say "Boleh, no problem".. very tall guy. We even try their jungle tracking package, not bad at all.

Then we went to Pasir Salak Resort just to have a look maybe next trip we can stay here. Next to Pasir Salak Resort is the Kompleks Sejarah Pasir Salak. A lot can be learned here, u guys should bring your family along.

1st Feb

3Rs Plastic Bag Campaign

This is actually a very good move. Organised by Malaysian Plastics Forum, sponsored by Ministry of Housing and Local Government, this campaign urge us as consumers to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle all plastic bags. Participating partners are all leading hypermarkets in our country - , Carrefour, Jusco, Giant, Tesco and The Store.

I have a brochure about it, n I like to share some of it's content with u guys.

When u have excess plasatic carrier bags:

USE THEM as waste bin liners in the home

USE THEM for storage

USE THEM the next time u go 2 the convenience store

RETURN CLEAN BAGS to the hypermarket/supermarket for recycling

Think b4 u take an Extra Bag!

'NO' 2 extra plastic carrier bags when u buy a few small items

'NO' 2 plastic bags when items are packaged with handles (e.g toilet rolls, rice packet, etc)

FILL UP each plastic carrier bag so that u use less no. of bags for more goods

Start now to reduce, reuse n recycle! Then convince others 2 do the same!

Bahau Negeri Sembilan... never been there but i came across this short article about Bahau.. it is a coincidence since my friend Mr. Suhaib asked me about it.. hmm.. i wonder why... it must have something to do with Cik Oren...

First of all, located nearly 250km from Kuala Lumpur (PLUS Highway exit Senawang, straight to Bukit Putus - Kuala Pilah - Juasseh - Bahau).

Few places u can visit.. there is this Hutan Lipur Serting Ulu, another one Taman Rekreasi Bahau n also Teratak Pendita (scholar) Za'Ba.

Another thing is I am surprised that people of Bahau have their own website.. www.bahau.com.my syabas!!

Have u ever been to Pulau Langkawi, Kedah? If not, u definitely have to put it on your list !! A very beautiful island up north of Peninsular Malaysia.

A must-see tourist attraction is the Langkawi Cable Car... 708m above sea level with a 360 degree viewing platform.. wow!!
